The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site–Based Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high–profile commercial refurbishment and fit–out projects within the Mayfair area of London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for a prestigious project valued between GBP12 million and GBP14 million, with a programme duration of approximately 12 to 18 months. Depending on project size and workload, you may manage either a single major project or multiple smaller schemes.
The role is due to commence at the end of October / early November.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial refurbishment and fit–out projects from start to completion.
- Oversee all on–site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Monitor programme performance and proactively address any issues.
- Ensure high standards of quality are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
- Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage health and safety compliance across all site activities.

About You
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing commercial refurbishment and fit–out projects.
- A strong track record of delivering projects of significant value.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively.
- A hands–on approach with strong problem–solving abilities.
- Experience and project delivery capability are valued more highly than specific qualifications or certifications.
