Nanny-Housekeeper in Hampstead, Job ID J21A38
An experienced Nanny-Housekeeper is required to help care for a family with two children while supporting the smooth running of their home. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and will speak fluent English. Someone organised, reliable, proactive, and confident balancing childcare and housekeeping duties would be ideal for this role. The candidate will also help encourage tidiness by supporting the children with organising their toys, clothes, and personal spaces. The family requires someone mindful of allergies, as the children have a nut allergy.
Housekeeping duties will include laundry, ironing, family meal preparation, cleaning, vacuuming, general tidying, decluttering, organising, and light outdoor work around the garden and patio. The role will also include day-to-day household upkeep to keep the home calm, organised, and presentable.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Term time, Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 19:30. School holidays, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 18:30.
Duties include:
- doing school pick-ups
- safely bringing the children home
- walking the children to after-school and weekend activities
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- being mindful of the children’s nut allergy
- supporting piano practice and reading
- providing homework support when needed
- maintaining the children’s routines
- managing the children’s belongings
- keeping the children’s activity schedule organised
- encouraging the children to keep their toys, clothes, and spaces tidy
- washing, drying, ironing, and putting away laundry
- preparing family meals and food
- cleaning, vacuuming, and general tidying
- decluttering and organising living spaces, children’s rooms, and storage areas
- carrying out light outdoor work around the garden and patio
- helping keep the home calm, organised, and presentable
The family is looking for someone who can start on 17 August 2026.
