The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a portfolio of refined event spaces designed for meaningful connection, celebration and expression.

We are seeking an Events Planner to support our Events Sales team in securing and delivering exceptional corporate and social events, conferences and private functions. This role is ideal for a detail-driven, guest-focused professional who thrives on coordination, relationship-building and creating seamless experiences.

The Role

As Events Planner, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of events from enquiry through to delivery. Working closely with Sales, Operations and Food & Beverage teams, you will help ensure every event reflects Rosewood’s commitment to relationship hospitality, excellence and thoughtful service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to event enquiries promptly and professionally, supporting the preparation of proposals and contracts

  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings, confidently showcasing the hotel’s event spaces and capabilities

  • Prepare and issue event contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs) and related documentation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners and VIP guests

  • Support revenue generation through effective coordination and thoughtful upselling of services

  • Act as a key liaison between clients, the events team and operational departments

  • Maintain accurate event bookings, databases and internal systems

  • Coordinate closely with Food & Beverage, AV and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth execution

  • Assist in creating detailed event schedules, floor plans and guest preference notes

  • Prepare daily and weekly reports covering bookings, revenue and client feedback

  • Track deposits, payments and contract deadlines to ensure compliance and accuracy

  • Act as a point of contact during live events, managing last-minute requests with calm professionalism

  • Work collaboratively with operations teams to uphold the highest service standards

About You

  • Experience in events coordination or hospitality sales, ideally within a luxury hotel or premium venue

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple events simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

  • Commercially aware with a service-led mindset

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about delivering memorable, relationship-driven guest experiences
