E-Commerce Assistant
The E-Commerce Assistant will support the day-to-day management of our online store, ensuring product listings, content, and customer journeys meet luxury standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for luxury retail, and a desire to grow within digital commerce.
Responsibilities of the E-Commerce Assistant
Website & Product Management:
- Upload, update, and maintain product listings (descriptions, pricing, SKUs, imagery, stock levels)
- Ensure product content aligns with luxury brand tone, storytelling, and visual standards
- Manage product launches, collections, and seasonal updates
- QA website content for accuracy, consistency, and functionality
Visual Merchandising & Content
- Support homepage updates, banners, and landing pages
- Assist with digital merchandising to optimise product placement and storytelling
- Coordinate with creative teams on imagery, copy, and campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency across all e-commerce touchpoints
Order & Customer Support:
- Assist with order management, tracking, cancellations, and returns
- Provide high-touch customer service as needed via email/chat in line with luxury standards
- Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams as needed
Performance & Reporting:
- Assist in tracking key e-commerce KPIs (conversion, AOV, traffic, bestsellers)
- Compile weekly/monthly performance reports
- Support A/B testing and optimisation initiatives
Operations & Administration:
- Support inventory coordination between online and offline channels
- Assist with promotions, gift-with-purchase, and special campaigns
- Maintain internal documentation and processes
What Phoebe Philo is looking for:
- At least 1 year's experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or luxury/fashion/beauty environments
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Passion for luxury fashion and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written communication and copy-editing skills
- Customer-first mindset with a luxury service approach
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Basic understanding of e-commerce metrics and performance
- Right to work in the UK (no need for Visa Sponsorship)
- Experience with Matrixify is a plus
