Daily Nanny-Housekeeper, Job ID J1C5C4
A wonderful family in Notting Hill, London is seeking a full-time nanny-housekeeper to provide dedicated care for their newborn, expected in October 2025. They are looking for a responsible and nurturing individual with substantial experience in caring for newborns, who can also manage household duties efficiently.
Key responsibilities include general childcare, maintaining a tidy home, and cooking for the family—particularly preparing batch meals, with a preference for those familiar with European cuisine. The role also involves occasionally feeding the family cat. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Duties include:
- Drop off, pick up to school and other activities
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Helping with family meals, meal planning, shopping and cooking
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
- Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
While they prefer a live-out arrangement, the family is open to live-in candidates for the right person. French or Spanish language skills would be a bonus, though English-speaking applicants are also welcome. The family is seeking someone to hire in October 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
