OFSTED Registered Manager - up to £70,000 excellent benefits

This may suit someone who has been an OFSTED Children's Residential Home Manager, or OFSTED Children and young Persons Home Manager.

Location: Croydon Commutable from London, Uxbridge, Slough, Watford, Reading, and surrounding areas Salary: £50,000-£70,000 per annum

Due to the regulatory nature of this role, all applicants must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Children and Young People's Services or equivalent. This ensures compliance with OFSTED guidelines , promotes best practice, and guarantees the highest level of care for children in residential settings.

To be shortlisted, candidates must have :

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent childcare/social care qualification
• Demonstrable experience managing a children's residential care home
• Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards , safeguarding protocols, and regulatory compliance

RESPONSIBITLIES

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards
• Lead, train, and support your staff with empathy and consistency

• Champion high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and reporting

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Children & Young People's Services, or equivalent.
• Recent experience relevant to residential care within the last five years.
• Experience supervising managing or mentoring professional staff.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Children's Homes Amendment Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures.
