Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hour week (Flexitime)

  • Minimum 3 times per week in office.  

  • There may be requirements to visit other offices and client sites for meeting and general collaboration 

Reporting to: Corporate Finance Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

About the Team

You’ll be joining our Corporate Finance team, a small but agile group of impactful specialists.

The team works closely with clients supporting them with their M&A activity such as acquisitions and disposals. The team also provides business valuations and undertakes various other ad hoc activities.

We pride ourselves on being commercially focused, offering exposure to diverse sectors and opportunities to collaborate closely with other teams.

Your Opportunity

As a Corporate Finance Senior, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the firm’s growth and success. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will cultivate partnerships with clients, becoming a trusted business advisor, and deliver exceptional service. You will foster excellent client relations and be given the freedom to manage how you deliver. Additionally, you will work closely with the Corporate Finance Partner and Management team to grow and develop the Corporate Finance team.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will:

Technical

  • Prepare complex financial models and valuation reports under the guidance of managers.  

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, providing insights that address specific client needs.  

  • Present findings in a clear, concise manner, ensuring that non-expert clients understand key outcomes.  

Quality

  • Maintain a meticulous approach to accuracy and detail in all deliverables.  

  • Ensure consistency in meeting firm standards, identifying and correcting errors promptly.  

  • Be open to feedback from managers and contribute ideas for enhancing processes and outputs.  

Delivery

  • Ensure personal deliverables are completed on time and in line with project objectives.  

  • Assist in managing smaller aspects of projects to meet deadlines.  

  • Build strong relationships with clients by delivering dependable, high-quality work.

You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:

Experience

  • 2-4 years in Assurance.  

Skills: 

  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and use of Excel.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 

  • Progress towards or qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is essential.

Our recruitment process typically involves three stages:

  1. An introductory Teams call with our Talent Acquisition team.
