Our Registry (Quality Assurance & Academic Standards) team plays a key role in supporting the University’s academic operations and ensuring accurate, consistent and compliant curriculum information.

We are looking for an experienced Curriculum Management Manager to join our team, providing specialist oversight of curriculum management processes, systems and data across the University.

This is a homeworker role, reporting to the Head of Curriculum Management, with a requirement to work collaboratively with academic Schools, Faculties, Registry and technical teams.

As our Curriculum Management Manager , you will:

  • Oversee the accurate configuration, maintenance and quality assurance of programme, module and assessment structures within University systems.

  • Support the Head of Curriculum Management with programme approval, modification, closure and periodic review processes.

  • Monitor curriculum data and processes, identifying risks, errors and opportunities to improve consistency and efficiency.

  • Act as a subject expert and key point of contact for curriculum governance processes across Faculties.

  • Support the development and implementation of curriculum management policies, processes and quality controls.

  • Work closely with academic, Registry and technical colleagues to resolve curriculum information and data issues.

  • Support the communication and implementation of changes to curriculum systems, processes and policies.

  • Ensure staff are appropriately supported and trained in curriculum management systems and processes.

  • Deputise for the Head of Curriculum Management as required.

Is this you?:

  • Substantial experience working within a Higher Education environment, with a strong understanding of academic models, curriculum structures, processes and systems.

  • Experience of streamlining and standardising administrative and operational processes.

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum management and/or student record systems; experience with CourseLoop or Banner would be desirable.

  • Experience of Higher Education quality assurance processes, particularly programme approval and modification, would be desirable.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Confident working with technology and able to act as an effective link between operational and technical teams.

  • A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach, with the ability to support and engage colleagues through change.
