Welfare Officer
Welfare Officer **Welfare Officer Needed**
- *Salary information**: £100 - £150 per day depending on experience
- *Work hours**:Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm with one hour unpaid lunch break (There may be some flexibility in working hours)
- *Work pattern**: 35 hours per week, Term time only (38 week)
- *Start date**: As soon as possible
- *Contract type**: Permanent
- Has experience working in a secondary school.
- Has experience and/or knowledge of first aid.
- Is kind, caring and supportive, especially with children who come to welfare.
- Can multi-task and prioritise in a busy school environment.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Communicates clearly and confidently - both in writing and in person.
- Works well in a team but is also confident working on their own.
- Builds positive relationships with children, staff and families.
- Is confident using IT systems like ARBOR, Medical Tracker, Word and Excel.
- Can work well with other professionals both inside and outside of school.
- A caring school.
- Well-resourced school.
- A supportive and friendly staff team.
- A commitment to supporting staff well-being and must have a paediatric first aid certificate within the last 3 years or be willing to do one.
