Spa Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

As Spa Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.

• Drive product innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, constantly evaluating offerings, and integrating Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

• Lead seamless daily spa operations, conducting quality inspections and ensuring exceptional service recovery to maintain guest satisfaction.

• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation and strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

• Along with the Director of Wellness, lead and manage all aspects of the Spa team, including recruitment and onboarding, training and development, and host relations.

• Ensure full operational compliance, maintaining precise documentation, safety protocols, and brand standards across the department.

Qualifications

To execute the position of a Spa Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results including the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

• Graduated or have a broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy at either NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO.

• Understanding and specialization of various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses. Knowledge in the use of facial, nail, or other beauty technology as required to fulfill spa treatments.

• Service-oriented with an eye for details.

• Self-motivated and energetic.

• Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
