A highly regarded school in Uxbridge is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join its team on a full-time basis. About the Role

The successful SEN Teacher will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that are adapted to the individual needs and abilities of students. You will create a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment while working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff to ensure students receive the appropriate support.

The school is looking for a teacher who can build strong relationships with students, maintain high expectations and encourage learners to develop their confidence, independence and academic skills.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience working with students with SEN

• Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies

• Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A patient, nurturing and consistent approach

• Commitment to supporting the wider development of students

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of additional needs

• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals

• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence

• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment
