TMO Lead (6‑month Fixed Term Contract)

Hybrid, London Location

Be at the heart of transformation. Stand Out with Premium Credit.

At Premium Credit, we’re on an ambitious, multi‑year journey of product and organisational transformation – and we’re looking for an experienced TMO Lead to help shape and drive this change.

This is a high‑impact 6‑month Fixed Term Contract role where you’ll set up and lead a Transformation Management Office (TMO) for one of our most important programmes. Reporting directly to the Programme Director – Product Transformation, you’ll work closely with the Executive Committee, senior leaders and programme teams to ensure robust governance, clarity, and momentum across the transformation portfolio.

If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy bringing structure to complexity, and are passionate about transformation done well – this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

As TMO Lead, you’ll be the centre of excellence for transformation governance and information. You’ll:

  • Establish and lead the TMO, defining governance frameworks, standards, and controls across the programme

  • Partner with the Programme Director to shape and manage the overall programme plan, milestones and critical path

  • Own RAAIDD management, ensuring risks, dependencies and decisions are visible, controlled and acted upon

  • Build clear, insightful reporting, dashboards and scorecards to track delivery, benefits, KPIs and programme health

  • Support programme assurance and continuous improvement, embedding best practice and capturing lessons learned

  • Oversee programme‑level communications, producing high‑quality SteerCo, ExCo and Board packs

  • Support resource planning and forecasting, providing a forward six‑month view of capacity and demand

  • Oversee programme finances, working closely with Finance to provide clear, timely insights

  • Propose and own tools and documentation repositories that enable effective delivery across the portfolio

You’ll act as a trusted advisor – providing insight, challenge and assurance at exactly the right moments.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring a strong background in PMO/TMO leadership and be confident operating at senior level. We’re ideally looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience in PMO or TMO assurance, programme and portfolio management

  • A strong understanding of portfolio management processes, governance and controls

  • Excellent analytical, organisational and decision‑making skills

  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organisation

  • Confidence producing clear MI, dashboards and executive‑level reporting

  • Strong financial awareness, including cost control and financial reporting

  • Line management experience

  • A proactive, structured and detail‑oriented approach

Just as importantly, you’ll live our values and bring energy, resilience and ownership to everything you do.
