Head of Integrations (Post-M&A) in Greater London
Job description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Head of Integrations to establish a scalable operational framework for onboarding and fully integrating on our platform all newly acquired agencies. You will assume ownership of acquired agencies since the moment the acquisition has been complete (and being involved in the process of due diligence and operational assessment slightly before completion), up until you have fully moved management of the acquired portfolio to run by Dwelly software and standardised operational processes, at which point you will pass on the responsibility of this portfolio to the Head of Operations. As we are doing an acquisition a month, you will oversee a team of integrations managers that are parachuted into the agency operations at the moment of acquisition and work their way through until fully migrating the portfolio management.
Your responsibility in the next 6 months will be to build a scalable integrations machine that can facilitate 2-3 concurrent integrations, while moving the business to the target-state tech and ops rails, and ensuring we limit the customers' churn in the meantime. Within the next 2 years you will need to increase capacity to run 10-20 integrations in parallel.
This role is designed for a leader who excels in high-growth environments, with an excellent communication skills and a very structured mindset, who has a proven ability to conduct transformations at scale, including processes mapping and re-design, re-education of staff, mapping out the top performers and working to re-skill or up-skill the staff whose day to day tasks are automated.
Responsibilities:
1.Completion announcements and staff communications
- Be there at the day of the completion announcement and work the way through to establishing relationships and rapport with the agency owner, management team that stays post acquisition as well as the and the agency staff.
- Identify key talent to retain in the integrated teams and manage employee transitions for those not continuing with Dwelly, maintaining a respectful and human-centered approach.
- Act as a liaison with stakeholders to support a smooth transition while preserving morale and engagement.
2.Establish status quo agency performance
- Right after acquisition, establish the baseline of business status quo (landlord managed portfolio, revenues, etc) as well as baseline user experience metrics
- Design and suggest ways to further improve business metrics and user experience
3.Integration & Client Migration Management
- Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth onboarding and migration of clients to the Dwelly platform.
- Lead the data transfer, process migration, and onboarding communications for new clients to streamline their transition.
- Actively resolve any operational roadblocks and ensure that all integration steps are completed efficiently.
4.Operational & Administrative Oversight
- Coordinate and execute operational tasks such as accounting consolidation, office and car lease terminations, and other administrative clean-up activities.
- Ensure all operational facets are thoroughly addressed, setting up each integration for long-term success.
5. Establish and build an integrations team
6.Work together with the product team to continuously improve integrations framework and map out some of the processes currently not supported
Qualifications:
1.Professional Experience:
- 5+ years in top-tier consulting or investment banking.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, process-driven venture-backed scale-up, with a track record of delivering results.
- 3+ years in operational or transformation roles, experience of doing large scale transformations. Having had experience of managing, hiring & nurturing teams of 5-10 people
3.Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communicator, knowing to deliver delicate messages in stressful settings.
- Experience in operational businesses and client-facing roles, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage numerous moving parts.
- Hungry for data; and structured, analytical, and data-driven approach.
- A "get things done" attitude with the flexibility to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Passion for designing scalable, efficient processes.
4.Other Requirements:
- UK-based with the willingness to travel when needed. Expected nationwide travel >50% of working time
