About the role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

• Ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the lesson material

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

• Supporting students’ learning and wellbeing

• Providing feedback to teaching staff on class progress and conduct

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:

• Have prior experience as a cover supervisor (Or Teacher).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• At least two terms of Cover Supervisor Experience.

Key responsibilities

As Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring lessons run smoothly
• Supporting pupils in engaging with pre-prepared lesson materials
• Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
