About Us

SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company, with a diversified portfolio of 5-star rated lifestyle solutions that positively impact people’s lives in homes around the world. Powered by two trusted, global brands, Shark and Ninja , the company has a proven track record of bringing disruptive innovation to market, and developing one consumer product after another has allowed SharkNinja to enter multiple product categories, driving significant growth and market share gains. Headquartered in Needham, Massachusetts with more than 3,600+ associates, the company’s products are sold at key retailers, online and offline, and through distributors around the world.

At SharkNinja, great design defines great products. Across Shark home innovations and Ninja kitchen game-changers, our Industrial Designers turn insights into the kind of products people rave about, recommend, and rely on.

We’re searching for a Senior Industrial Designer who brings clarity, curiosity, and craft—someone who can take a complex problem, sketch it into a brilliant solution, and partner cross-functionally to make it real.

If you love designing products that ship fast, get used globally, and raise the bar for an entire industry, this is your team.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive product design across Shark and Ninja—from first sketch to production-ready handoff.
  • Create high-fidelity concept sketches, illustrations, models, and prototypes for research, reviews, and storytelling.
  • Turn user insights into beautifully usable, emotionally resonant product experiences.
  • Use design thinking to generate fresh, innovative solutions that strengthen both brands.
  • Transform ideas into high-quality CAD models and compelling renderings.
  • Define CMF, design intent, and critical details—fit, finishes, textures, graphics, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Research, and Manufacturing to deliver exceptional products at pace.
  • Participate in brainstorms, design reviews, and cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Maintain top-tier design quality throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Stay ahead of category trends, materials, technologies, and consumer behaviors.

What You Bring

  • BA/BS in Industrial Design (MS preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience designing consumer products (appliances, electronics, medical, or similar)
  • Strong 2D storytelling skills—sketching, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or Rhino
  • Strong rendering skills in Keyshot (or comparable)
  • Experience delivering products into production—details matter and you obsess over them
  • Ability to independently run portions of the design process and drive your own workstreams
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and part design
  • Creative problem solver with sharp analytical thinking
  • A portfolio showcasing originality, craft, process, and shipped product experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (we move quickly—and you’ll love it)
