An exciting opportunity has arisen within King's, for a SafeCare Clinical Implementation Manager.

The SafeCare Clinical Implementation Manager will lead the Trust-wide rollout of the SafeCare module of HealthRoster to inpatient nursing areas, to replace the BIU Nursing Staff Levels app, ensuring it works effectively with eRostering and Temporary Staffing practices to support safe, efficient, and patient-centred workforce deployment. The role requires strong clinical credibility, excellent eRostering and Temporary Staffing knowledge and the ability to lead change across diverse clinical areas. – Support with training in SafeCare will be provided but previous experience is an advantage.

The role is based at Denmark hill but will include cross-site working.

Main duties of the job

What you will do:

  • Lead implementation and embedding of SafeCare across all inpatient and ED areas.
  • Provide expert advice and training on SafeCare , HealthRoster, Temporary Staffing and safe staffing processes.
  • Support clinical teams with daily system use, data accuracy, and staffing decision-making.
  • Monitor compliance, produce reports, and escalate risks where needed.
  • Develop SOPs, resources, and improvement initiatives to ensure consistent best practice.

Skills required:

  • NMC-registered nurse/midwife with strong knowledge of SafeCare /HealthRoster.
  • Experience in workforce planning, acuity scoring and roster management.
  • Strong communication, training and influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, solve problems and lead change across multiple services.
  • Confident IT user with excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

Education and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife (NMC registration).
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

Desirable criteria
  • IT or e-roster training qualification.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of rostering, workforce planning and acuity/dependency scoring.
  • In-depth knowledge of HealthRoster and SafeCare systems.
  • Experience of audit, data analysis and reporting.

Desirable criteria
  • Awareness of national and local safe staffing policy.

Skills and Competencies

Essential criteria
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  • Ability to influence, motivate and manage conflict appropriately.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills.

Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of leading cultural or behavioural change programmes.
