Civil Engineer - Rail

The Team
The team provides design, assessment, inspection, construction support and management services on a wide range of rail projects and our services offered to our clients include feasibility studies, outline designs and detailed designs.
Clients include private and public sector like Network Rail, HS2, HS1, TfL, TfGM and various Tier 1 contractors.What You'll be doing
- Working within Rail Civils and Structures covering all stages of the scheme lifespan.
- Preparation of technical outputs to the highest standards.
- Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications working closely with Engineers and Technicians to delivery to programme.
- Undertaking the necessary design (calculations, design, risk assessments, etc.) supported by other team members including technicians to produce the required design deliverable outputs.
- Resolving technical civil engineering issues.
- Scope and supervise surveys.
- You will get the opportunity to develop and grow in the role with support & mentoring.
What You’ll Bring
- Familiarity and compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Welfare regulations.
- A Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject accredited by the Engineering Council.
- Experience in delivering and managing all stages of multi-disciplinary engineering projects from initial studies through to detailed design.
- Working knowledge of the relevant legislation and guidelines including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, British and European Standards, Eurocodes and Codes of Practice.
