Working for the Marcomms department at Hearst Networks, this role is responsible for the trade marketing directed to advertisers and corporate and trade comms for the company and the portfolio of channels.

The B2B Marketing and Communications Manager - Ad Sales and Corporate will proactively publicise and promote the company’s identity and profile, as well as its people, initiatives, and brands in the UK, and coordinate key outputs on an EMEA level. The role will work closely with our Sponsorship and Partnership team and Sky Media agency to support revenue-driven marketing initiatives directed at prospects and clients.

The role reports to the Head of B2B, supervises the work of an external public relations agency, and collaborates with cross functional departments.

This is an 8-month Fixed-term contract position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY, Crime+Investigation, BLAZE and Hearst CANVAS.

Key Responsibilites:

Trade Marketing & Ad Sales Support

  • Support the delivery of trade marketing campaigns to help achieve Ad Sales revenue goals

  • Assist in creating sales materials such as presentations, one-pagers, case studies and decks

  • Help respond to client and agency briefs with clear, insight-driven content

  • Assist in packaging sponsorships and partnership opportunities for clients

  • Support the promotion and consistent positioning of the network’s brands across industry channels and events

Corporate Communications & PR Support

  • Assist in implementing corporate communications plans across internal and external channels

  • Support drafting press releases, announcements, and media communications across owned channels such as website, LinkedIn, and newsletters

  • Help maintain the company’s tone of voice and messaging standards

  • Support internal communications, including town halls, presentations, and newsletters

  • Help monitor media coverage and track communications impact

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Programming, Creative, Legal, HR) to ensure smooth delivery of communications

  • Support alignment and approvals across teams for trade and corporate communications

Administrative Support

  • Raise POs and invoices as needed

  • Maintain budget trackers and assist with reporting

  • Provide general support to the Marcomms department and ad hoc tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven track-record of writing accurate and compelling copy.

  • Previous PR or Marketing experience either at a broadcaster, in-house or with a PR agency.

  • Computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage workloads and to meet deadlines.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Passionate about communications and television.

  • Experience in broadcasting / TV, media, or advertising.

  • Understanding of Ad Sales environments and revenue-driven marketing.

  • Ability to develop thought leadership or insight-led campaigns.

  • Ability to develop and deliver partnerships, sponsorships, or commercial opportunities.

  • Ability to use audience data or research to shape marketing narratives.

  • Experience working across international markets (EMEA).

  • Experience with industry events, awards, or trade press.

  • Confidence supporting senior leadership communications.
