1st / 2nd Line Network Support Engineer – Cisco, Fortinet, ISP, Meraki - £40,000 - £45,000 – London / Southampton - Hybrid

Great opportunity to join a fast-growing Managed Services Provider delivering connectivity, networks, firewalls, Microsoft cloud, and cybersecurity solutions. We are looking for a proactive and technically curious 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) operations team.

This role focuses on the support, monitoring, and maintenance of customer network infrastructure solutions across our managed services portfolio. You’ll work with Fortinet, Cisco, and automation technologies to ensure that our solutions remain secure, stable, and high-performing.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience working in a NOC or MSP Service Desk
• CCNA or CCNP
• NSE 4
• Cisco Meraki
• Fortinet - FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and FortiManager
• Strong Routing protocols - BGP, OSPF, and VLAN
• Great client facing skills
• Ready to try and solve any problem prior to escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the client network infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for network incidents, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Support and maintain Fortinet, Cisco, and Cisco Meraki network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
• Assist in managing routing and switching configurations, including BGP, OSPF, and VLAN management.
• Conduct routine health checks, performance analysis, and fault investigations across managed customer environments.

This role will be hybrid – the business run a highly collaborative and close knit team so you will be in the office 3 days a week.
