The School
A well-established and high-achieving primary school in the Stepney area of Tower Hamlets is seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition into Year 6 and Upper KS2 expectations.
You will be part of a collaborative year group team, with shared planning and strong support from experienced teaching assistants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Supporting progress in reading, writing and maths
- Using assessment to inform teaching and close gaps
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and presentation
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
- Holds QTS with recent UK primary teaching experience
- Has experience teaching in KS2
- Demonstrates strong classroom management
- Works well within a team environment
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
