Teacher of Girls" Physical Education
Hampton Court House is an award-winning independent co-educational day school for ages 2 – 18, educating children and young people
from pre-nursery to Year 13. The majority of our 300+ pupils elect to stay on to complete their full education with us, enjoying high levels
of academic success in their GCSEs and A levels, and at Oxbridge and Russell Group university entry.

coming to school. Our non-uniform parkland campus, in which staff and pupils alike are addressed on a first-name basis, cultivates an
atmosphere in which our pupils can explore their curiosity, individuality and style with taste and discretion.
We seek an excellent teacher of girls' Physical Education to join this successful and dynamic department from November 2025. This post would ideally suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
We are looking for someone with:
● A passion for educating, inspiring and understanding children and teenagers;
● A passion for sport, and excellent subject knowledge;
● A love of learning and a commitment to continued professional development;
● A fascination with the many varied and different methods of challenging and inspiring children and teenagers both inside the classroom and outside;
● A desire to participate actively in the life of a busy and ambitious school;
● A belief that every pupil can succeed beyond their expectations;
● A sense of adventure as well as a sense of humour; and
● An interest in the peoples, cultures and languages of the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching girls' PE and sport across the school, up to Year 11 (including GCSE). The role will report to the Head of Sport.
The postholder will be also expected to:
● Run several co-curricular sports club throughout the school year;
● Organise and attend sports fixtures throughout the school year;
● Support the Head of Sport in planning and co-ordinating the use of off-site facilities;
● Participate in range of enriching, sport-focused trips and visits throughout the school year;
● Be a form tutor to a small form group;
● Attend parents' evenings;
● Other reasonable duties as directed by the Senior Leadership Team.
Hampton Court House offers its own competitive salary scale.
