About the Opportunity

An established building controls and energy management specialist is seeking a BMS Service & Maintenance Engineer to join its growing engineering team. The role will focus primarily on the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and optimisation of BMS and controls systems, alongside involvement in small works projects and system upgrades across a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS and control systems.

Diagnose and rectify faults on a range of Building Management Systems.

Attend reactive breakdown calls and provide effective technical solutions.

Perform system health checks, optimisation, and performance improvements.

Complete small works, minor modifications, and system improvements.

Produce accurate service reports and documentation following site visits.

Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety requirements.

Support commissioning activities and assist with project delivery where required.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) in a service, maintenance, commissioning, or support capacity.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Good understanding of HVAC controls and associated plant.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

Experience with systems such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Delta, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of networking and IP-based control systems.

Previous experience delivering small projects or modifications.
