Visitor Experience Co-ordinator
Description
Manchester Craft & Design Centre is hiring a Visitor Experience Co-ordinator.
This hands-on role involves welcoming visitors, supporting events, and overseeing the building on weekends. Perfect for someone with a passion for craft, design, and great visitor experiences.
The Visitor Experience Co-ordinator will be responsible for providing a welcoming and engaging experience for all visitors to Manchester Craft and Design Centre. This key role involves front-of-house duties, sharing insights about our makers, exhibitions, and events, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
The role also includes key holder responsibilities, overseeing the secure opening and closing of the building on weekends, and taking charge of events and activities while on-site. Engaging directly with visitors, gathering feedback, and contributing ideas to enhance the audience experience are central to the role. With a focus on customer service and operational support, the Visitor Experience Co-ordinator will help maintain a welcoming space, assist with administrative tasks, and manage general enquiries.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, connecting people with craft and design while supporting the creative community at MCAD.
