Explore Work

Discover your future

If you’re in year 9, 10 or 11, (year 10, 11 or 12 in Northern Ireland or S2, S3 or S4 in Scotland), you might be starting to think about what you want to do after school. Our virtual Explore Work platform helps you take your first step towards the world of work. You'll explore different pathways, build confidence and gain insights to help share your future. You can complete the programme from home, school, the library or anywhere with an internet connection, at a time that suits you. You can access the platform on a laptop, desktop computer, tablet or phone.

What will I get to do?

  • Through interactive content and activities, you’ll discover more about yourself, explore different areas of Deloitte and develop practical skills that will support you in whatever you choose to do next.
  • The programme is made up of four interactive modules that unlock as you progress, allowing you to complete each stage at your own pace and build your confidence along the way.
  • You’ll get to know more about Deloitte’s values and cultures, identify your interests and strengths and build key skills that are valuable in both education and the workplace.
  • At the end of the programme, you’ll get to step into the role of a Deloitte professional and tackle a real-world client project.

Who’s it for?

  • Explore Work is for anyone who is curious about different careers, keen to build confidence and interested in finding out more about the opportunities available after school.

  • Deloitte welcomes students from all backgrounds. You don’t need to know anything about Deloitte or professional services before you start.

When and where does it take place?

Explore Work is a self-paced, virtual programme that you can complete at any time. You will be given your own log on details for the platform that you will be able access at a time that suits you. Everyone who completes it will be awarded a certificate.

Explore Work Registration

Applications for Explore Work are currently closed and will reopen in the autumn for the 2026-2027 academic year. If your application is successful, you'll be invited to begin your Explore Work journey. Once you’ve completed the programme, Deloitte will continue to share relevant opportunities and invite you to take the next step in exploring your future.
