Executive Assistant - Employment
The Firm
Our client, a highly regarded global law firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their Employment group in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-quality support to multiple lawyers and fee-earners. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Duties to include:
- Managing complex diaries, appointments, and travel arrangements, including international travel
- Coordinating and attending meetings, taking minutes, and preparing agendas and meeting papers
- Organising internal and external events, seminars, and networking activities
- Drafting correspondence, emails, and legal documents
- Managing inboxes and delegating tasks to Administration Assistants
- Supporting business development initiatives, including legal directory submissions, newsletters, and updating CVs and sector pages
- Handling billing arrangements, WIP monitoring, client invoices, expense claims, and finance forms
- Undertaking client/matter creation, conflict and compliance checks, and maintaining accurate records
This Executive Assistant opportunity is a full-time, fixed-term contract role, working Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an EA role within a law firm
- Experience providing support to lawyers or similar professionals
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lawyers
- Proactive, resilient, and able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
