The Role

As Caretaker, you'll be responsible for ensuring the school site is safe, clean, secure, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the school site

• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs

• Setting up rooms for meetings and school events

• Monitoring contractors on site

• Completing regular health and safety checks

• Keeping the school grounds tidy and secure

• Reporting maintenance issues where required

The school is looking for someone who is reliable, practical, and takes genuine pride in maintaining high standards. Previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site experience would be advantageous but isn't essential for the right candidate.
