KPI Education is working with a diverse and engaging London school seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

This role is ideal for Psychology graduates who want to gain first-hand experience supporting students with additional needs and explore a future career in teaching, SEND or educational support.

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers, SEND professionals and wider inclusion teams to provide high-quality support to students with a range of individual needs and backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support.

• Helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

• Applying your understanding of psychology to adapt support to individual students.

• Working with teaching staff to deliver classroom activities and develop learning resources.

• Supporting students with organisation, revision, confidence and independent learning.

• Encouraging pupils to engage actively and positively in their education.

Candidate Profile

The school is particularly interested in graduates with:

• A Psychology degree (First Class or 2:1 preferred).

• Strong academic results at A Level and GCSE.

• A genuine interest in child development, SEND and educational psychology.

• Ambition to pursue a long-term career in education or student support.

• Previous tutoring, mentoring, youth work, school or volunteering experience is advantageous but not essential .

• A proactive, patient and resilient approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
