Live-in Domestic Couple

A delightful opportunity for an experienced Live-in Domestic Couple to work for a private family at their holiday home in Middlesex. This stunning large residence is situated in 40 acres, and is surrounded by gardens, lakes, and woodlands.

The family are seeking a hardworking, loyal, and reliable Domestic Couple to provide the following duties.

Duties and responsibilities - not limited to:

• General housekeeping (cleaning and deep cleaning, ironing, dusting etc)
• Laundry and full wardrobe management. Knowledge of care for washing, ironing and storage of delicate fabrics
• Menu planning, shopping for groceries and maintaining stock inventory
• Ensuring there is sufficient security and protection at the estate at all times, day and night
• Assisting with events hosted at the estate from time to time, and providing assistance to the estate guests
• Maintaining accurate records of suppliers, expenses, visitors etc
• Liaising with company's employees
• Chauffeuring
• Butler duties
• Cooking/baking of nutritious, family home style meals, and able to cook for formal events with guests. Mediterranean cuisine is preferred.
• Maintenance of all buildings and vehicles
• Servicing and maintaining the swimming pool
• Maintenance of outbuildings

Couple Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of security systems and managing alarms, especially in the absence of the principals
• Experience working within a UHNW residence
• Flexibility is essential
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Both to hold a full, clean driving licence
• Competent IT skills
• To be the eyes and ears in the absence of the principals
• Excellent communicators
• High level of cooking (not Chef standard); Caterers will be hired for large events
• Flexibility to assist with childcare in the absence of the Nannies
• Up-to-date DBS and right to work required

Accommodation : A beautiful 3-bedroomed gatehouse recently refurbished. Comes with 3 bathrooms, living room, and dining room. Own private garden, garage & veranda. Utilities included. A couple with a dependent will be considered.

Days/Hours of work :

• Monday - Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm with a 1-hour lunch break
• Every Saturday, 8.00am-1.00pm (availability required to enable other staff entering and exiting the property, and on occasion there may be a work commitment at the property)
• Flexibility required
• When the principals are in residence, the Couple will be required to be hands-on and work longer hours; The Couple can work in shifts

Salary : £70,000 - £80,000 gross DOE

Start Date : January 2026
