Nursery Practitioner - Flexible Supply
Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Colliers Wood, London
Type: Flexible, Mon to Fri 8am until 6pm (minimum 1 day a week)
Salary: £14.50 – £15.00 an hour (dependant on experience and qualification levels)
About the role:
Are you a caring, fun-loving individual ready to make a difference in the lives of young children? We have the perfect opportunity for you! One of the lovely Nurseries we work alongside are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to work a minimum of one day a week in their nursery. There are several positions available in the baby room, toddler room and pre-school room dependent on your individual interests and experience.

Their approach promotes critical thinking, creativity, independence, and self-direction, encouraging children to take responsibility for their learning. They provide a ‘hands-off’ environment, allowing children to immerse themselves in play, explore freely, and engage in meaningful activities that support their growth and development. Through minimal instruction and ample time for reflection, we create opportunities for lifelong learning, self-sufficiency, and active participation in a community-based environment.

What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of Level 3 qualification related to Early Years (essential)
- Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred, not essential)
- Early Years’ experience (essential)
- A genuine love for working with children.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience and a caring personality.
- Driver’s license (preferred, not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting staff and children within local nurseries
- Participate in engaging activities and educational programs.
- Delight children with play and learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Follow health and safety protocols.
