SEN Teaching Assistant | East London | ASAP Start | £82.14-£100 per day Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the borough of Waltham Forest to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs across areas including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford, Highams Park, and Woodford. The Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language difficulties. You'll be supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in their learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with SEN across EYFS to KS2 Delivering tailored interventions and strategies for children with EHCP plans Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO Building positive relationships with pupils and promoting their social and emotional development Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needsWhat We're Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting A patient, nurturing approach with strong behaviour management skills Knowledge of strategies for supporting ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or Speech & Language needs Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Desirable: Training in PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategiesWhy Join This School: This school has a strong inclusive ethos and excellent SEN provision.
