Management Accountant

We are currently working with a large UK / International law firm based near St Pauls who are looking to hire a newly qualified Management Accountant.

  • Salary starting from £60,000
  • Hybrid Working - Min 2 days office based / rest remote dependent on busy times
  • St Pauls / Chancery Lane
The Role

The Management Accountant will support the London and international offices with the whole management accounting functions and requires an individual who enjoys an autonomous role who can settle quickly and support multiple groups and offices. You will find yourself generating budget and cashflow reports, monthly & annual statutory reports and surveys, reconciliation of intercompany arrangements, partnership accounting, performance reports for the overseas offices as well as handling relationships with banks and supporting on a range of firmwide financial projects.

Requirements

Reporting into the Head of Accounts you will need to have a clear understanding of how an international law firm operates and the different cultures you will inevitably encounter. With this in mind, candidates must be newly ACCA/CIMA qualified from a Big Four accountancy firm, or part qualified, preferably with current experience working in a law firm's accounting department. You will also have;

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, macro skills preferable
  • Systems implementation experience, ideally using Aderant
  • Knowledge and preparation of statutory accounts and intercompany reconciliations
  • Strong tax compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
