Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Enfield, Southgate
Salary Range: £90 - £105 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM

GSL Education are looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join a special needs school in Enfield, Southgate . This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real impact in the lives of children with ASD.

Responsibilities of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA):

* Provide 1:1 and group support to students with ASD and other SEN needs .
* Assist in creating tailored learning strategies to enhance students' engagement and progress.
* Support behavioural management to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.
* Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment .
* Encourage the development of essential life skills and independence in students.

Requirements of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA):

* Experience in SEN or behavioural support , particularly with children with ASD .
* Ability to support students with high support needs and provide 1:1 assistance .
* Resilient, proactive, and patient personality with a passion for working with children.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and other staff.
* Commitment to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of children with autism.
* A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
