Job Description
The Slightly Curious Studio is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Freelance Pottery Tutor to teach regular weekend classes. The role involves leading engaging workshops, demonstrating pottery techniques, and supporting beginner students in both hand-building and wheel throwing.
Responsibilities
- Teach hand-building and wheel throwing techniques to beginner students
- Demonstrate pottery skills on the wheel and in hand-building
- Lead structured workshops in a supportive and engaging manner
- Assist students with troubleshooting and technique improvement
- Set up and clean the studio before and after classes Requirements
- Experience in both hand-building and wheel throwing
- Confidence in teaching beginner students and leading group classes
- A friendly, patient, and supportive teaching approach
- Ability to maintain an organised and clean workspace
