After-school Nanny in East Finchley, London, Job ID J1F0A8
This busy London family is seeking an Afternoon Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role includes all general nanny duties. A driver is required, and the family can provide an automatic vehicle. They are looking for a highly competent, safe, reliable, and very organised nanny with a warm and genuine approach to children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced (with at least one year in a similar role), and an excellent driver. The nanny should maintain a safe and tidy environment while fitting naturally into the family’s daily routine. Occasional babysitting, around once a fortnight with prior notice—may also be required. A valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Term time: (Approximately 33 weeks during the year): Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Friday, 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm (27.5 hours in total) | School Holidays (Approximately 19 weeks during the year): Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (44 hours in total)
Duties include:
- arranging appropriate activities for the children
- pick the children up from school
- meal preparations
- school runs
- helping out with homework
- going to the park
- planning other fun activities while the parents are working
- preparing and escorting the children on play dates
- doing extracurricular activities such as sports
