  • Design and oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of priority campaigns across platforms — including media, events, digital and internal engagement — built around the BBC’s core roles: pursuing the truth, backing homegrown storytelling, and bringing people together.
  • Champion regional impact - ensuring campaigns reflect and amplify the BBC’s commitment to communities across the UK, with relevance and resonance at a local level.
  • Collaboration - working closely with teams across the Corporate Affairs division and the wider BBC to ensure joined-up, insight-led campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement - embedding best practice in campaign delivery, measurement and editorial compliance, while fostering innovation, creativity and alignment with BBC Values.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills able to build trust and influence across senior leaders, journalists, external stakeholders and editorial teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of communications strategy and tools, including audience insight, social media, AI applications and campaign evaluation techniques.
