Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Newham Salary: £80 - £105 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long Term Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 03:30pm

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

Support children in class, both one-to-one and in small groups

Help deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils who need extra support

Work closely with teachers to create a warm, engaging classroom environment

Encourage pupils' social, emotional and academic growth

Assist with classroom routines, behaviour support, and learning activities

Keep track of student progress and share feedback with teachers

✅ Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:

Some experience working with children (school-based preferred)

A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude

Great communication and teamwork skills

A passion for inclusive education and helping all learners succeed

Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is a bonus

Relevant training or qualifications are desirable but not essential
