Title: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer
Location: London (2-3 days on site)
Salary: Up to £75,000 & Bonus!
iO Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a fast-growing, next-generation technology consultancy delivering cutting-edge data, AI, and cloud solutions to high-profile clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, lead delivery squads, and develop your leadership skills while staying hands-on with modern data technologies.
What You'll Do
Lead technical delivery of data engineering projects within client teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and plan delivery.
Build and optimise data pipelines, architectures, and workflows on cloud platforms.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Promote engineering excellence and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in data engineering, building and optimising large-scale cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong Snowflake expertise (Snowpipe, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, UDFs) - SnowPro certification desirable.
Advanced Python and SQL skills for ETL/ELT processes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in data workflows.
Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and performance optimisation.
Confident working directly with clients, translating business needs into technical solutions.
Leadership experience within delivery teams.
