Can you provide consistent support that helps pupils thrive both academically and socially? If the answer is yes to all the above, then this ASD Teaching Assistant role is for you!! The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a KS3 pupil with ASD, supporting them throughout the school day. You will help implement tailored learning strategies, encourage positive interactions and assist with managing routines and behaviour. Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will play an important role in promoting the pupil's confidence, independence and overall progress. Previous experience supporting children with ASD is required. The School - ASD Teaching Assistant This friendly and inclusive Secondary SEN school in Greenwich is located within a short walk from the nearest train station. The school caters for children aged 11 - 18 and is dedicated with providing a nurturing and encouraging environment where every pupil feels motivated and supported to succeed. Staff work closely together to deliver high-quality support for pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD and ADHD. The school received a 'Good' rating by Ofsted.
