Secondary TA

Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a large, vibrant secondary school in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their academic, social, and emotional development.

About the role

• Support students across KS3 and KS4, both in-class and through targeted small group interventions.

• Work closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and provide differentiated support.

• Assist in maintaining a positive learning environment that encourages engagement and independence.

• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including those with SEND or EAL.

• Promote high standards of behaviour and foster a positive school ethos

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary TA you will:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team
• A genuine passion for supporting the educational progress of young people

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable teaching experience
