What we are looking for?
We’re looking for a compassionate, organised, and hands-on Clinical Ops Lead for Adult Services to oversee our team of Clinical Specialists. Reporting into our Head of Clinical Care Hub, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team, providing line management, coaching, KPI oversight and general support, ensuring our patients experience clear, timely and empathetic communication at every step.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Client Success Team, Feedback and Resolutions Team and with our Associates, acting as the voice of both the patient and our clinical teams in a fast-moving, values-led environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
The Clinical Ops Lead for Adult Services will be responsible for overseeing and developing Care ADHD’s Clinical Care Hub, which provides remote titration and medication prescribing services. This role involves ensuring the safe, effective, and patient-centred delivery of ADHD medication services while maintaining clinical governance, compliance, and best practices.
The successful candidate will lead a team of non-medical prescribers, pharmacists and substantive assessors, ensuring high-quality patient care and spearheading innovation in digital medication services. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for improving ADHD care.
Responsibilities within the Hub include writing prescriptions, performing clinical reviews prior to titration, carrying out annual and ad-hoc reviews as required, creating shared care agreements, managing clinical queries, and collaborating with key stakeholders from external organisations to support patients.
As a predominantly remote team, the successful candidate must be experienced in using digital healthcare platforms, managing virtual teams, and ensuring seamless remote patient care. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, oversee clinical staff, and drive service improvement while balancing leadership responsibilities with some direct clinical work.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Lead triage processes for referrals, assigning cases to the appropriate team member based on complexity and expertise.
- Support the Head of Clinical Care Hub implementing and refining workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Success, to support patient outcomes and experience.
- Monitor resource allocation through our dedicated scheduling tool, and adjust priorities to meet service demands effectively.
- Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement in patient experience and operational performance.
- Support with direct clinical duties as required (e.g., prescribing controlled drugs, facilitating treatment discussions, conducting risk assessments).
- Ensure effective use of digital healthcare systems, including electronic prescribing, virtual consultations, and remote monitoring tools.
- Support and train staff in best practices for remote patient care, ensuring a seamless virtual service.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration across remote, hybrid and office based teams.
Clinical Excellence
- Oversee all clinical activities within the Hub, including medication queries, ADHD monitoring, and prescribing practices.
- Act as the first point of escalation for clinical complaints and high-risk cases, ensuring timely responses and the implementation of actions based on investigation outcomes
- Ensure compliance with NICE guidelines, professional and ethical standards (NMC/HCPC), regulatory standards (CQC), and CARE ADHD values and protocols.
- Support clinical risk management and take the lead on urgent escalations, risk assessments, and safeguarding concerns
- Conduct regular team audits to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Develop strategies to improve clinical outcomes and patient safety.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of NMPs, pharmacists and substantive assessors within the Clinical Care Hub, supporting with monthly supervision, annual reviews and probation meetings.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, innovation, and continuous professional development.
- Oversee caseload management and distribute tasks effectively based on team workload, skills, and service priorities.
- Drive operational improvements to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve service delivery.
- Implement innovative solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Reports into the Head of Clinical Care Hub, with direct reporting responsibility for the Clinical Care team.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and development plans.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new clinicians within the Clinical Care Hub.
Education and Training
- Ensure team members are up to date on clinical advancements and best practices.
- Organise and participate in team meetings and development days as required.
Patient Advocacy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide educational resources that support patients and caregivers, empowering them in managing their ADHD.
- Develop mechanisms to gather and act on patient feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
To thrive in this role you’ll need:
Education: Registered Mental Health Clinician with extensive experience supporting adults, complemented by a proven track record in operational leadership.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a mental health service, and 5 years experience in a leadership role.
Certifications: Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification preferred but not essential
