Job Title: Art & Design Technology

Location: HA2 9JU

Salary: £140-£160 per day

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days), 8.30am-4.30pm

About Us:

LSC are a team of subject specialists who support primary schools across the UK with PPA cover. Our team of educators are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for our students.

Role Overview:

As a Art & Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Art & Design Technology lessons to KS1 and KS2 students. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their creative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
  • Teaching: Deliver dynamic and interactive Art & Design Technology lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

What we are looking for…

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a Art & Design Technology Field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (highly desirable)

Experience:

  • 3 years experience teaching Art & Design Technology in UK primary schools
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.

  • Strong knowledge of the Art & Design Technology Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
