SEND Teacher
Smart Teachers is delighted to be working with a successful and inclusive secondary academy in East London seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teacher to join their specialist provision from September

his is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher committed to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they achieve their full academic and personal potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the SEND department, pastoral teams, and subject teachers to provide high-quality teaching and tailored interventions.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teacher you will:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching students with SEND in either a mainstream or specialist setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Has a strong commitment to inclusion and raising outcomes for vulnerable learners
- Is reflective, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
