Repairs Planner - 28k - PERMANENT - STRATFORD
Location: Stratford
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Sector: Social Housing Maintenance Must have previous planning experience repairs planner job involves scheduling and planning maintenance work in a cost-effective way while providing customer service to residents and liaising with tradespeople. Key responsibilities include using company systems to book and reschedule appointments, updating job logs, processing reports to determine required actions, and ensuring all necessary equipment is ordered. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities Scheduling and planning: Arrange and reschedule appointments for repairs, organize work with supervisors and tradespeople, and maintain an organized and cost-effective schedule.
Customer service: Provide a high level of customer service to residents, answer their queries, resolve minor complaints, and keep them informed of progress.
System and data management: Log all current jobs onto a job management system, update information as it changes, and process trade reports.
Communication: Act as the key point of contact between residents, supervisors, and tradespeople. Liaise with staff at customer sites to provide progress updates.
Administrative tasks: Order necessary equipment for jobs, process orders for invoicing, and handle emails from contract mailboxes.
Required skills and experience Experience in a call centre or similar customer-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency with company systems and databases.
