About Us

We’re a Shopify design and development agency partnering with direct-to-consumer brands across multiple industries. We turn Figma designs into pixel perfect, high performing Shopify stores that help brands scale their online presence.

The Role

We’re looking for a Mid-weight Shopify Developer ready to step up into a technical leadership role on a retainer basis.

This isn’t a hands-on coding position — you’ll oversee technical quality, consistency, and efficiency across our global development team.

Your role is to refine processes, set standards, and elevate developer output across all client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve all code before deployment (pull requests, theme updates, custom builds)
• Establish coding standards and best practices that work across multiple client themes
• Build and maintain a library of reusable, cross-theme Shopify sections
• Audit existing client work and identify recurring improvement opportunities
• Create documentation and SOPs for recurring development tasks
• Mentor and support developers through code reviews and feedback
• Prevent bugs and issues from reaching production (especially revenue impacting ones)
• Solve complex challenges (app integrations, performance bottlenecks, architecture conflicts)
• Implement quality gates, testing protocols, and review systems
• Train the team on new workflows and technical standards
• Ensure pixel perfect alignment between Figma designs and Shopify builds

What We’re Looking For

• 3–4 years of Shopify Liquid experience (ideally in an agency or multi client environment)
• Strong knowledge of Shopify 2.0 architecture (sections, JSON templates, theme blocks)
• Experience mentoring or conducting code reviews
• Ability to build theme agnostic, reusable components
• Excellent eye for detail and design to code accuracy
• Experience debugging complex app integrations (subscriptions, bundles, checkout, etc.)
• Systems thinker who can create structure, not just write code
• Clear, concise written communication (we work asynchronously)
• Comfortable giving direct but constructive feedback
• Familiarity with subscription and bundle apps (Recharge, Seal, Skio, Kaching, Rebuy)
• Ready to transition from pure development into technical leadership
