Finance Leader – Financial Reporting

Location: Hybrid – Office three days per week based just outside Glasgow
Type: Permanent | Full-time

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for driving global consistency and excellence in financial reporting? We’re exclusively recruiting for a confidential client seeking a dynamic leader to oversee global financial reporting processes across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the standardisation of financial reporting procedures globally
  • Oversee timely and accurate month-end close processes
  • Develop and enforce robust internal control frameworks
  • Act as the primary liaison with auditors
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives

Ideal Candidate Traits:

  • Attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Resilience under pressure

Experience & Expertise:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 8–10 years’ experience in finance operations, including leadership in financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
  • Proven track record in process standardisation and ERP implementation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
