Job Description
YOUR ROLE:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager & hotel team.
- Manage month-end & year-end processes, producing accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets in collaboration with other departments.
- Drive cost-efficiency and profitability while supporting long-term growth plans.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other key financial partners.
- Coordinating internal & external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, tax laws, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Overseeing the accounts payable function and managing accounts receivable
- Supervising payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Be present and proactive – this is a highly visible role requiring engagement with the wider operations team
Qualifications
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:
- Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality finance – ideally within premium or midscale hotels.
- Extremely commercial with a strong understanding of F&B and operational performance metrics.
- Confident, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams.
