Salary: £227 - £292 per day
About the role
We're recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support pupils with complex additional needs in a specialist SEND school. The successful candidate will deliver therapeutic interventions focused on motor development, sensory integration, self-care skills, and independence.
Responsibilities will include:
- Direct occupational therapy delivery and sensory play sessions
- Assessing and supporting fine and gross motor development
- Working within a multidisciplinary team (speech therapists, SEND staff, teachers)
- Collaborating on individualised therapy plans
- Supporting pupils with self-care and daily living skills
About the successful candidate
Qualified Occupational Therapist with proven experience in special educational needs settings. Expertise working with children with complex learning needs, autism, or sensory processing difficulties. Creative approach to therapeutic practice and understanding of the holistic nature of SEND support essential.
