A successful Primary School in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking an experienced and analytical Data Manager to join its leadership support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing information systems, producing meaningful reports and using data to support school improvement.
Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the school's data systems, ensuring pupil information is accurate, secure and readily available to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play an important role in monitoring pupil progress, attendance and statutory reporting while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.

Data Team
The Data Team supports school leaders by providing accurate information that informs decision-making, curriculum planning and pupil intervention.
Responsibilities
Managing the school's Management Information System (MIS).
Maintaining accurate pupil records.
Producing attendance, assessment and progress reports.
Supporting statutory census returns.
Analysing school performance data.
Preparing reports for governors and senior leaders.
Monitoring pupil admissions and leavers.
Supporting assessment data collection.
Ensuring GDPR compliance and data security.
Maintaining reporting systems and dashboards.
Supporting staff with data queries.
Producing intervention reports for pupil progress meetings.
Monitoring key performance indicators.
Assisting with school improvement planning through data analysis.
Liaising with external agencies where required.
Requirements
Previous Data Manager or school data experience.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Experience using school MIS systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent organisational abilities.
High attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
Ability to work collaboratively across the school.
