Live-in Housekeeper in St. John's Wood, London, Job ID J1EC32
A warm and busy family based in St John’s Wood, London, is looking for a full-time, experienced Housekeeper to join their household on a live-in basis. The ideal candidate will be professional, adaptable, and have a keen eye for detail, with proven experience in high-standard housekeeping. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home, managing laundry and wardrobes, preparing healthy and varied meals, running errands, overseeing household supplies, and caring for the family pets. The role may also involve occasional travel with the family, both within the UK and abroad, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential. The successful candidate will be discreet, trustworthy, and pet-friendly, with strong time management skills and genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully kept home. The family is also open to considering live-out candidates for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 12:00 am to 8:00 pm for a live-out candidate, Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 8:00 pm for a live-in candidate
Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom in the household.
Duties include:
- loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
- dusting furniture
- freshening the rooms
- doing the laundry and ironing of the family
- dusting
- hoovering the carpets and floors
- ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
- polishing floor
- preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
- running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
