Why you will love this opportunity as a Presales Consultant at Civica

We're seeking someone that has strong knowledge of the Social Housing sector. This role specialises in Civica Housing & Civica Property Management products, and you will act as the primary subject matter expert. This includes being responsible for demonstrating software and responding to bids to products to meet the unique needs of our customers, within the LG sector.

The Presales Consultant will support the sales teams by showcasing the specific features and benefits of our LG solutions, (Primarily Civica Housing & Property Management solutions), provide demonstrations working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential

• Sector Knowledge: strong understanding of the Social Hosing industry, including challenges, regulatory requirements and pain points unique to this sector.
• Technical Expertise: familiarity with using software technologies used within the social housing sector and/or property management, including automation tools, data security, and integration capabilities.
• Excellent Communication Skills: strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences, from technical experts to senior stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in bid writing, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with RFI & tender requirements.
• Consultative Skills: ability to provide engaging and consultative presales support to customers, with the ability to translate value-based propositions for the LG division.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their strategic goals.

Preferred

• Technical Expertise: familiarity with software demonstration or use of one or more Civica products.
• Sector Networks: Existing network within the Social Housing Sector and/or Property Management sector.
• Public Sector Familiarity: Knowledge of procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS) and experience engaging with local government networks.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to meeting customer needs.
• Video Production: Familiar with the production of multimedia collateral, through recording or editing of video content.
